Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your IELTS Project account at any time, from the website, the app or by email.

If you can log in

  1. Log in to IELTS Project on the website or in the app.
  2. Open the Account page.
  3. At the bottom of the page, choose Delete your account.
  4. Type DELETE to confirm, then choose Delete my account.

We record your request straight away and sign you out.

If you cannot log in

Email privacy@ieltsproject.com from the email address you use for your account, and ask us to delete it.

What we delete

Within seven days of your request we remove your name, email address, password, contact details and Speaking recordings and transcripts, and your account closes. Your test scores and written answers stay without your name, so they can no longer be linked to you. We use them only for statistics. This cannot be undone.
