Questions students ask before starting

IELTS Project is an independent IELTS preparation and computer-delivered testing pilot. Reading and Listening provide deterministic practice results; AI assessment is introduced only in later controlled phases.

Protected guest sessions, timed Reading, timed one-play Listening, Writing autosave, and a hands-free Speaking flow are available. Payments and candidate accounts are disabled during the controlled pilot.

Not as a scored product. The engineering flow completes recording, transcription, pronunciation assessment, and admin review before any practice estimate is released. Live calibration against human-rated benchmark recordings is still required.

No. IELTS Project does not collect payment during the testing pilot. Pricing and entitlements are scheduled only after the testing and account layers are stable, and only as a separate release decision.

No. IELTS Project feedback is practice guidance based on the four public IELTS Speaking and Writing assessment criteria. It helps identify weaknesses but is never an official IELTS result.

The flow follows IELTS Speaking Parts 1, 2, and 3. Candidates hear prompts, prepare for the Part 2 cue card, speak under timing, and submit a saved attempt. Silence detection advances the test automatically.

The website is responsive, but the most realistic experience is on a laptop or desktop — especially for Writing and computer-based mock practice. The microphone check works on most modern mobile browsers.

No. IELTS Project is an independent preparation platform and is not affiliated with, approved by, or endorsed by the official IELTS test owners.
